Widget app & Bluetooth Manager app to easily connect Bluetooth headphones (or any audio device) from the home screen using a widget for each device or one widget with a list for all your Bluetooth devices.
If you want to listen to music, you have to go to settings, wireless, Bluetooth and connect Bluetooth headphones?
Do you need to conveniently switch between car audio, phone or handsfree?
Simply connect to permanently powered Bluetooth devices such as soundbars?
Or just monitor the battery of your Bluetooth earbuds?
It’s complicated and annoying. I have a better solution – use widgets. Add a widget to your home screen for all your favourite Bluetooth devices.
One click on the widget to connect your Bluetooth headphones and play Spotify without going into the settings menu. The Bluetooth icon on the widget signalizes the state of connection. You can see connected Bluetooth profiles (music, call) on the widget, if headphones support it.
For supported devices, the widget displays the battery level of the Bluetooth headphones (min. Android 8.1). The app supports enhanced reading battery level from the following Bluetooth headphones: Apple Airpods, Apple Airpods Pro, Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, Buds Live, Buds Plus.
In the App, on the widget or in notification you can see the battery level of each earbud and the case.
You can enable enhanced widget mode. Clicking on the widget displays a menu with options to connect / disconnect, select the active device and control Bluetooth profiles (music, call).
Adjust the size of widgets in app settings or directly on screen 1×1, 1×2 etc. as well as the color and margins of the widget. On Android 12 and above, the widget supports dynamic colors based on the user’s wallpaper.
The app supports A2DP and Headset profiles, audio devices such as portable speakers, headphones, soundbars, handsfree, etc… On the widget and in the app, supported Bluetooth profiles are indicated by an icon in the top right corner. Note icon for A2DP – stream high quality audio (music) or phone icon for calls.
You can save the volume levels of the headphones. Once connected, the app restores the saved volume level.
Something doesn’t work? Please check the application web, you can find HELP and the FAQ there: https://bluetooth-audio-device-widget.webnode.cz/help/
The App needs some permissions for the correct function. They may vary depending on the manufacturer of your phone.
