SVP (aka SmoothVideo Project) converts any video to 60 fps (and even higher) and does it in real time. From the extensive community feedback, we learned that anyone who has watched at least three movies at high frame rates would never ever want to watch anything in the outdated 24 fps standard 😉
In-App purchases: Frame Rate Conversion (aka FRC aka HFR aka MEMC) is a PAID option after short trial period.
ALL OTHER FEATURES ARE FREE!
Uses SmoothVideo Project (SVP) real-time motion interpolation (MEMC) engine, including:
* Target frame rate selection (48 fps, 60 fps, 120 fps, x2, x3 rate…)
* Flexible configuration
* Black bars detection and lighting
plus
* Built-in file browser supporting streaming from WebDAV, FTP, SMB, DLNA and Plex Server.
* Can stream videos interpolated with RIFE neural network from a desktop PC running SVP 4 application.
********** !!!!!! ***********
Please note that the SVP engine requires a recent and powerful CPU. At least Snapdragon 865 performance level is highly recommended for 1080p playback with frame rate conversion enabled.
SVPlayer WILL drain the battery like top games do and it MAY NOT WORK at all on old/slow devices. Please don’t write bad reviews just because your device can’t handle it.

Based on mpv video player which supports:
* All video and audio formats out there;
* Hardware video decoding;
* Network stream playback;
* High quality scaling and rendering;
* HDR tone mapping;
* Audio normalization and equalization;
* Direct mpv.conf access;
* and much more…

Short Q & A
Full version: www.svp-team.com/wiki/FAQ_(Android)
=================
Q: Is my device supported?
A: We don’t have every phone/tablet on the planet in our hands. So you can try SVPlayer for free and decide if it works for you or not.
Q: Why is my device not supported?
A: Several reasons:
– Android version older than 9;
– Less than 2 GB of RAM (at least 3 GB is highly recommended);
Q: Recommended hardware?
A: Snapdragon 865 or equivalent, 4GB of RAM
Q: My device is lagging/stuttering!
A: There are several methods to reduce CPU usage:
– On the “Frame rate” page, move the performance/quality slider to the left, step by step;
– on the “Size and light” page, set the “Decrease frame” to at least 1080p, or even to 720p.
– Turn off the hardware decoder (the HW button), this may help in some cases.
Q: There is no video / green screen / etc.
A: Try to disable hardware decoding (via options or the HW button). Not every SoC supports hardware decoding for every video format or codec.
Q: My device is too weak!
A: You can still stream high frame rate video from your powerful Windows/macOS rig running the SVP 4 application: www.svp-team.com/wiki/SVPlayer_with_SVPcast
Q: Can I open videos from Youtube (P**nhub, etc.)?
A: You need a direct link to the M3U8 stream. You can use 3rd party software such as “Web Video Caster” to open the network stream in an external player.
Q: How can I save/download converted video?
A: SVPlayer is a —> player <---, it doesn't "convert videos", but inserts new frames in real time. There's no video encoder here. If you want to re-encode video to 60 fps - use desktop SVP application (Windows, MacOS, Linux). Q: I can't pay via Google A: Install a standalone APK from our website. Q: I already paid, but the app is asking for payment again! A: Uninstall SVPlayer; select the Google account you used to purchase in Google Play; re-install SVPlayer from the correct Google account. Q: Will you support Android TV? A: Yes! There's an Android TV APK available on our website.
